Will of Robert Thomas McKeeBk. 4 pg. 437-40 Know all these present that I Robert Thomas McKee of Lyons, Greene county, Indiana, do now here make this my last will and testament. First: - I desire and will that all of my just debts including my last doctor bill and funeral expenses be paid in full, except mortgaged which is here in after provided for, out of my personal estate provided there is not enough personal property to discharge said debts there in that event, it is my will that my heirs except my wife who shall not be required to pay any, shall pay the balance of said debts each on paying his or her equal share. Second: - I will and bequeath to my beloved wife Martha Ann McKee all the residue of my personal estate, consisting of notes, cash, accounts, and household and kitchen furnitures that is left after the above named debts are paid. Third: - I will and bequeath to my beloved wife Martha Ann McKee the following described real- estate consisting of 52.84 acres more or less described as follows, towit - a part of section 4-6-6 19.25 acres and a part of the southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of section 16-6-6 the part excepted in this quarter is 6.41 acres herein after given to Maggie D. Jeffers the above bequests of real - estate to my wife are made so long as she remains my widow or if she does not remarry during her natural life. In the event she re-marries or at her death the 33.59 acres in section 16-6-6 I will to my son James G. McKee or his bodies issue. In the above events I will and bequeath to Virgil D. Waggoner, my step-son, Rhoda E. Burcham and Maggie D. Jeffers my daughters and Oscar T. West my grandson equal share of the land bequeathed to my wife in section 4-6-6 19.25. Fourth: - I will and bequeath to my beloved daughter Rhoda E. Burcham in the North half of the southeast quarter of section 16-6-6 containing 80 acres more or less of her bodies issue. Fifth: - I will and bequeath to my beloved son James G. McKee or his bodies issue the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter, the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter also the north half of the southeast quarter of the northwest quarter all in section 16-6-6- 100 acres more or less. Sixth: I will and bequeath to my beloved daughter Maggie D. Jeffers or her bodies issue the southwest quarter of the northwest quarter also the south half of the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter also the north half of the northwest quarter of the southeast quarter also 6.41 acres described as follows: commencing at the southwest corner of the southwest quarter of the northeast quarter of section 16-6-6 thence east 564 feet thence north 86 3/4 degrees west up said open ditch 561 1/2 feet, to the half section line thence south 600 1/2 feet to the place of beginning all of the above land being in section 16-6-6 and containing 86.41 acres more or less. Seventh: I will and bequeath to my beloved grandson Oscar T. West or his bodies issue and no others, the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter of section 16 township six (6) north of range six (6) west containing forty acres more of less. Eighth: - The plat of the land in section 16 twp. six (6) north of range six (6) west conveyed by this will and attached to his will is a part of the will for the purpose of better locating the land of heirs herein benefited and for their help in dividing the same. Ninth: - I hereby appoint my son James G. McKee as executor of this my last will and testament he is to serve without bond and without charge except necessary court expense. In testimony I here unto set my hand and seal this 9th day of November 1912 .
Subscribed and signed by the said Robert Thomas McKee in our presents and in the presents of each other and declared by him in our presence to be his last will and testament and attested by us in his presents and in the presents of each other this the 9th day of November 1912. Witnesses:
