Will of Samuel Hains



Bk. 4 pg. 101

I Samuel Hains of the County of Greene and State of Indiana do make this my last will and testament.

First it is my will that my just debts be paid out of my estate.

Item 1 I give and devise all the residue of my estate to Margare E. Hains my wife.

Item 2 I make and appoint Margaret C. Hains exceutor of this my last will and testament.

In testimony hereof I have here unto set my hand and seal this 27th day of January in the year 1885.

Signed and acknowledged by said Samuel Hains as his last will and testament in out presence and signed by us in his presence.

Before me Joseph W. Yakey Clerk of the Greene Circuit Court personally came E. H. C. Cavins one of subscribing witnessess to the foregoing last will and testament of Samuel Hains late of Greene County Indiana deceased and being sworn on oath say that he was present at the execution of said last will, that the same was duly executed; that at the time of the execution thereof said testator was of full age to devise his property of sound mind and memory and not under any coercion or restraint, that said testator requested E. H. C. Cavins and Aden G. Cavins to sign said will as witnesses thereto which they accordingly did in the presence of sais testator and in the presence of each other as subscribing witnesses thereto.

I Joseph W. Yakey Clerk of the Greene Circuit Court do hereby certify that the above and foregoing last will and testament of Samuel Hains lat of Greene County State of Indiana, deceased was this day duly admitted to probate and record and the proof thereof duly made by E. H. C. Cavins one of the subscribing witnessess thereto which said will together with such proof have been duly recorded in record of Will No. 4 pg. 101 in this office.
