Will of Mary Frances Moore

I Mary Frances Moore, an unmarried woman at presnt a resident of Marion County, Indiana, and being of sound mind and disposing memory, do hereby make, publish and declare the following to be my last will and testament, to-wit:

Item 1 - I revoke all former will and testament by me made.

Item 2 - I direct that my just debts including the expenses of my funeral be paid.

Item 3 - All the reast and residue of the property, real, personal and mixed, of which I may die seized or possessed, I dievise and bequeath absolutley and in fee simple forever to my sister, Jennie L. Strouse, at present residing near Worthington, in Greene county, Indiana.

Item 4 - I appoint my said sister exeuctrix hereof. This 19th day of March, 1931, at Indianapolis, Indiana.

Signed sealed and acknowledged by Mary Frances Moore as and for her last will and testament in our presence who at her request and in her presence and in the presence of each other hereunto subscribe our names as witnesses this day of Marcy [sic March}, 1931.

State of Indiana, Greene County, ss:

On this 6 day of June, A. D. 1931, in open court in the Greene Circuit Court, in the State of Indiana, personally came R. A. Echols, one of the subscribing witnesses to the annexed foregoing instrument of writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Mary Frances Moore, late of Greene County, in the State of Indiana, deceased (who departed this life on the 21 day of April, 1931), who being now in open court duly sworn to testify the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, concerning the execution of the last will and testament of Mary Frances Moore deceased, on his oath aforesaid, ttestified as follows, towit: The he saw the said Mary Frances Moore in her life-time, but who is now deceased, sign her name to the annexed and foregoing instrument of writing, as and for her last will and testament; that he heard her declare the same to ber her last will and testament; and that this affiant, R. A. Echols and Anna M. Britton, & Chas. O. Britton, signed their names thereto as attesting witnesses, at the request of said testatrix, in her presence, and in the the presence of each other, and that at the time she so executed said last will and testament that said Mary Frances Moore was of full age to devise and bequeath her property; that she was of sound mind and disposing mind and memory, and that she was not under the coercion or restraint of any person or persons whomsoever, and further saith not.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said court, at office in Bloomfield, Indiana, on this 6 day of June., A. D., 1931

I, Elmer W. Sherwood, Clerk of the Greene Circuit Court of Indiana do hereby certify that the anexed and foregoing last will and testament of Mary Frances Moore, late of Greene County, deceased, has been duly admitted to probate; that its due execution was this day fuly proven in open court, by the testimony of R. A. Nichols, the subscribing witness hereto, whose proofs, together with said last will and testament, have been duly recorded on page 71, of Will Record No. 6, no on file in my office.

In testimony hereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said court, at office in Bloomfield, Indiana, on this 8th day of June, A.D. 1931
