I am looking for information on Alexander RIDGEWAY. He was born somewhere in Indiana in 1833. The 1860 census lists Wayne Township as his home. He married Hannah E. REED on November 4, 1855. He left the area in the early 1880's and moved to Minnesota. His occupation was listed as Shoemaker. I am interested in tracking down his father and earlier relatives.

Reasearching the PIERCE family. My gg Grandfather, Thomas Pittman (or Putnam) Pierce was born in Hamilton County Ind. Born April 1, 1840, 1844, or 1847 depending on the record. He married Maria Jane? in Indiana, and their first children were born in Indiana, Alzora (Mar. 27,1889) and Aaron F. approx 1874. Any information on this family or their relatives would be appreciated. I have information I would be happy to share on the family. His father was John Pierce.

I am looking for for gggggranfather, Jonathan (Johnathan) CAREY who died in Hamilton Co. on 7/25/1865. His wife's name was Rebecca TIMMONS (dau, of Isaac and Esther Timmons) who died 9/19/1862. They are both supposedly buried in a cemetery known as Carey Cemetery in Hamilton Co., IN. They had 7 children, Joshua, Jonathan Jr., Rebecca, Hester, Elizabeth, Catherine and Mary S. who were all born in Hamilton Co. from 1810 until about 1830's. Any

I am descended from Thomas BALLARD from Hamilton Co. 1860-1890. He came from Guilford Co. NC with the Ballards and HIATT. Also in the group was Robert FISHER, who married Ruth Ballard. I have marriage bonds from NC for Fishers: Jonathon, Moliston, Nathan, Noah,
Noah H., Robert L., Salathiel, and William Lindsey.
