NAME, Charles F. was born in Kokomo, Ind.
He was thirty-eight years of age at the time he entered the army. He was discharged at Camp Grant Ill. Jan 18, 1918.

NORDYKE family

The NORDYKE family is mentioned in the article on Archibald HAMILTON. The article mentions that in 1880, Henry HAMILTON (Archibald's son) was listed in the 1880 Howard Co IN census, Union Township with Cilles NORDYKE and her 3 children; she was listed as head of household, with Henry listed as a nephew. The article also mentions that in Howard County marriage records, James NORDYKE, son of Daniel and Sarah LINDLEY NORDYKE, married Celia BURNS 27 Jun 1874.

Leslie Edmond NUTT

Leslie Edmond NUTT, son of Samuel N. (deceased) and Tillie NUTT was born in Benton Co. Ind. 15 Sep 1891.
He entered the army at Kokomo Ind. 21 Sep 1917 and was at Camp Zachary Taylor until he was transferred to the avation corps as a mechanic at Kelly Field, Texas.
Corporal NUTT was also at Americus Field, Ga. as chief crew man on airplane motors. He was mustered out 4 Feb 1919 at Southern Field, Ga.

Ray Sanford NUTT

Ray Sanford NUTT, son of Samuel N. (deceased) and Tillie NUTT, was born in Benton Co. Ind. 16 Feb 1894.
He was in the second quota to go to Camp Zachary Taylor. From 21 Sep. 1917 until his transfer to Kelly Field, Texas, he was attached to the 325th F.A.
Sergeant NUTT was transferred from Kelly Field to Camp McArthur Texas; and them to Camp Greene, Charlotte N.C. After going to Middletown, Pa. he was promoted to top sergeant of his squadron.
