Burford, Printer & Binder, 1920. p 205 photo plate 28Levi Harry OILAR, son of Henry C. (deceased) and Elizabeth JONES OILAR, was born in Russiaville Ind 6 Oct 1895. In 1913 he graduated from the Russiaville High School and in 1917 he received his B.S. degree from Purdue University. While a student in college, he was a member of the university cadet corps and was advanced to first lieutenant and captain.

Page 205-07 Photo Plate 48 Charles Francis ORMSBY, son of George E. and Bridget SMITH ORMSBY, was born in Elwood Ind., but when he entered the army 26 Apr 1918, he was living with his parents in Kokomo Ind. One month after he went to Camp Zachary Taylor Ky, he was ordered to Camp Sheridan Ala and ws transferred to Camp Upton L.I. 27 Jun 1918. There he entrained for Montreal, where on the following day, he began his voyage on the St. Lawence.

He married May D. HALE. On 1 Aug 1918, he entered the army at Kokomo Ind. and was called to Indianapolis Ind. 15 Aug 1918, where he took medical instruction for two months. While at Fort Wayne, Detroit Mich., he was attached to the air service. His discharge was issued 28 Jan 1919.
