Page 210 Photo Plate 5.Alphonse PASSAFUME, son of Philip and Iressa PASSAFUME was born in St. Thomas Canada 2 Oct 1898. Although living in Kokomo Ind. he enlisted in the Canadian Army at St. Thomas in June 1918 and had gone to France and was ready to start for the firing line when the armistice was signed. He was attached to Co. F 4th Reserve which was sent to Surrey England where he remained until 1919. NOTE: No entry found for Alphonse PASSAFUME in a basic search of the Social Security Death Index. Page 210-11 Photo Plate 46.Frank PASSAFUME, son of Phillip and Iressa PASSAFUME, was born in St. Thomas, Canada 28 Jun 1900. He joined the navy at Indianapolis Ind. 2 Sep 1918. He was promoted to bugler, 2nd Regiment Camp Dewey, Great Lakes Ill. In Oct. 1919 after spending a brief furlough with his parents in Kokomo Ind. he went to the training session at Goat Island, Calif.

He was mayor of Kokomo in the 1930s, during the worst years of the Depression. I have a great deal of information on the QUIGLEY family and would like to contact anyone researching this family, or anyone who has any information on them at all. Thanks. |
