Edmund worked at Dietzen's Bakery 1925-1943; Stellite until he retired in 1959. Member of Union Street Friends church and WWI veteran - served in Battery D, 70th Artillery in France. VFW and Indiana Barracks 495.
Married: Jessie G. HARLIN in 1918; she passed away 18 Nov 1966.
Survivors: 3 daughters, Mrs. Eugene FOUTCH, Barbara EARLY, and Mrs. Charles SCHEID; 2 sons Robert and Richard EARLY (Richard serving in US Marine Corps); a sister, Mrs. Hazel WRIGHTSMAN; several nieces and nephews. A son predeceased him.

Kokomo Daily Tribune, 7 April 1897
Mrs. Lucinda ELLIS, an aged and highly respected lady, of South Kokomo, died at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the home of her son, Lewis I. ELLIS, Palmer Street. She leaves three sons and a daughter to mourn her departure. The children are Charles, of West Liberty; J.W. and Lewis, of this city; and Jane of Blindchute, Ohio.
The funeral will occur Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at Phlox, in southeastern Howard county, conducted by Rev. J. Hammer ELLIS. Interment in the Forks of the Creek Cemetery."

Died at the home of her son, Lewis I. ELLIS, Palmer Street, Tuesday, Mrs. Lucinda ELLIS. The funeral occurred Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at Phlox, conducted by Rev. J. Hammer ELLIS."
