Howard County Indiana Genealogical Society Newsletter
Members of the society receive a quarterly newsletter (approximately 20 pages per issue) that contains articles of interest to the Howard County area
as well as articles of more general interest. Recent articles include a listing of Howard County taxpayers, the history of the cannons of Kokomo and school graduates from the Classes of “Sevens”.
Back issues are available for $3.00 each. You can order an issue by contacting the society at: Howard County Genealogical Society, PO Box 176, Kokomo IN 46903.
The Newsletter Committee welcomes copies of previously unpublished Bible records, diaries, biographies, old letters and other material of interest to historians and genealogists. All writers must indicate the source of
their information, either informally within the text of the document or cited as footnotes.
Material should be typed or provided as a text file and sent to the attention of the Newsletter Editor. Submissions may be edited for space
and/or clarity. Submitters will receive a complimentary copy of the Newsletter that contains their article.
Submissions are due by January 15 for the Spring issue, April 15 for the Summer issue, July 15 for the Autumn issue and October 15 for the Winter issue.
Information contained in the Newsletters has been obtained from sources believed to be accurate; however the Newsletter Committee cannot guarantee the
