H. Joann Gruber Lacy Allman
September 3, 2006H. Joann Gruber Lacy Allman, 74, formerly of Columbus, died Friday, Sept. 1, 2006, at Indiana Masonic Home, Franklin.
She was a 1949 graduate of Shields High School, Seymour. She was an executive secretary at Cummins Engine in Columbus for 32 years, retiring in 1985.
Born on Nov. 19, 1931, in Seymour, she was a daughter of Harley Lyman and Esther Kathryn Biddle Gruber.
Survivors include a sister, Carolyn Hess, North Vernon.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Indiana Masonic Home, with burial at the Garland Brook Cemetery, Columbus.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, at the chapel.
