Earl Lynn Austin


Veteran.

Earl Lynn Austin, 49, Austin, died at 9:05 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2002, at Scott Memorial Hospital, Scottsburg.

Mr. Austin was a veteran who served during the Vietnam era and was a machine operator at American Plastic Molding, Scottsburg.

Born Oct. 12, 1952, at Scottsburg, he was a son of Herbert Marion Austin and Oma Malinda Boyd Austin.

Survivors include two daughters, Francena Ann Austin, Greensboro, N.C., and Stacy C. Austin, Salem; five grandchildren; two brothers, Herbert Wayne Austin, Russellville, Ky., and Charlie Edwin Austin, Austin; and two sisters, Patricia Ann Campbell, Austin, and Sharon Dale Campbell, Yerkes, Ky.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Glen Austin.

The Rev. Mike Sergeant will conduct services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Buchanan Funeral Home, Austin. Burial will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Austin. Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1083, Crothersville, will conduct graveside services.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
