Robert L. Berna, 61, Lexington, died Saturday, March 9, 2002.
Mr. Berna was a retired chef and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the American Kennel Club.
Born June 27, 1940, in Scott County, he was a son of Mearl and Alta Gladden Berna.
Survivors include two brothers, Mearl Eugene Berna, Scottsburg, and James E. Berna, Lexington; Jeanne Abbott, Scottsburg; and Mary Lou Serles, Scottsburg.
The Rev. J.B. Blythe will conduct services at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Stewart Funeral Home, Scottsburg. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Vienna.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
