Nancy E. Bevers
Nancy E. Bevers, 61, North Vernon, died Sunday, April 21, 2002, at Jennings Health Care, North Vernon.
Mrs. Bevers had worked as a health aid until she became disabled several years ago. She lived in Jennings and Jackson County all her life.
Born May 8, 1940, in Jackson County, she was a daughter of Merrill Collins Meranda and Myrtle Rose Hauersperger Baurley, who both preceded her in death.
She is survived by a daughter, Dolly Warren, North Vernon; a son, Kelly Bevers, Seymour; a sister, Diane Blevins, North Vernon; four grandchildren, Ryan Bevers, Devin Bevers and Sarah Bevers, all of Seymour, and Clayton Warren, North Vernon.
She also was preceded in death by her stepfather, Bernard A. Baurley; a daughter, Bronwyn Strong; and a son, Benjamin Bevers.
The Rev. Herman Lutz will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Vance-Fisher-Sawyer Funeral Chapel, North Vernon. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Church Cemetery, North Vernon.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Four Corners.
