Robert G. Findley
September 27, 2006Robert G. "Bob" Findley, 77, Reddington, died at noon Monday, Sept. 25, 2006, at his residence.
On Oct. 12, 1946, he married Marguerite [Von Fange] Findley at the home of the Rev. R.S. Wilson.
Survivors include two daughters: Marilyn Miller, Cathy [Richard] Washbush; two sons: Robert [Mary] Findley, and James [Carleen] Findley; 10 grandchildren, Thomas Joseph Findley, Jason Glen Findley, Jeremy Lee Findley, John Michael Miller, Christopher Brian Miller, Leigha Marie Traub, Travis Gene Findley, Jennifer June Bode-Phillips, Robert Selier Washbush, and Sarah Elizabeth Washbush; 10 great-grandchildren, Kayla Marie Miller, Megan June Miller, Brandon Foster, Jacob Foster, Lauren Paige Findley, Jed Findley, Thomas James Traub, Trenton Christopher Traub, Tiffany Phillips, and Caleb Phillips; four sisters: Gladys Lucas, Betty [Edward] Hudson, Marjorie [Joe] Sentz, Sue [Glenn] Murphy; and one brother: Bill Max [Rosemary] Findley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Eugene Findley and Lawrence Findley; two sisters, Opal Bieneke and Rosemary Mellencamp; two sons, David Michael Findley and Gary Lee Findley; and one grandson, Gregory Allan Bode.
Pastor Andy Burnette will conduct funeral service at 10 a.m. Thursday at Voss Chapel, Seymour.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday at Voss Chapel.
Memorials may be given to Peter's Switch Church of the Nazarene Building Fund.
