Charles Edward Fordice, 91, North Vernon, died at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 29, 2006, at his residence.
Born Aug. 16, 1915, in Jackson County, he was a son of Richard Fordice and Bertha Heinz Fordice, both of whom preceded him in death.
Survivors include a brother, Lloyd Joe Fordice, Marion; a sister, Ida L. Silence, Seymour; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, William S. Fordice, John S. Fordice, Scott F. Fordice and Elmer "Jim" Fordice; and two sisters, Bernice Sundergelt and Ethel Smallwood.
Lonnie Goen will conduct graveside services at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown.
There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are being handled by Spurgeon Funeral Home, Brownstown.
