Jackie Drury Georgopoulos
Jackie Drury Georgopoulos, 53, Scottsburg, died Thursday, April 4, 2002, at Clark Memorial Hospital, Jeffersonville.
Mrs. Georgopoulos was the former district and regional manager for Best Inns of America in Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois and Georgia, and a former manager of Family Inn at Gatlinburg, Tenn., and Pigeon Forge, Tenn. She was also a member of the Greek Orthodox Church.
Born July 26, 1948, in Millstone, Ky., she was a daughter of Charlie Combs and Ollie Fields, who both preceded her in death. She married Nick Georgopoulos and he survives.
She also is survived by a daughter, Deborah Bennett, Sellersburg; a son, Todd Drury, Dalton, Ga.; two sisters, Chris Combs, Laconia, and Bobbie Stelle, Nashville, Tenn.; and three grandchildren.
The Rev. Leon Armstrong will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Saturday at Collins Funeral Home, Scottsburg. Burial will be at Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Jeffersonville.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of services Saturday.
