Steven Edward Hensley

Steven Edward Hensley, 37, Columbus, died at 2 a.m. Thursday, April 18, 2002, at his home.

Mr. Hensley was a 1983 graduate of Columbus East High School, a graduate of Ivy Tech and attended IUPUC. He was employed by Delta Faucet at Greensburg and was a candidate for the Bartholomew County School Corp. board. He was a member of East Christian Church and the National Rifleman Association. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Born March 28, 1965, in Seymour, he was a son of Ralph E. Hensley, Winter Haven, Fla., and Linda Klakamp Jerome, Columbus.

He also is survived by his stepfather, Dr. Ralph E. Hensley, Columbus; two daughters, Lorraine May Hensley and Alexis Hensley, both of Columbus; and a brother, Martin L. Hensley, Greenfield.

Mike Gillespie will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Saturday at Myers Funeral Service, Reed and Jewell Chapel, Columbus. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from noon until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
