Larry Johnson
Larry Johnson, 50, Scottsburg, died Tuesday, March 19, 2002, at Scott Memorial Hospital, Scottsburg.
Mr. Johnson was a carpenter and sawmill operator.
Born April 22, 1951, in Hamilton County, Ohio, he was a son of Fred B. Johnson and Myrtle Davidson Johnson. On Feb. 10, 1977, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he married Mary Kathryn Davidson, who survives in Scottsburg.
Other survivors include a son, Matthew Ryan Johnson, Scottsburg; a daughter, Amanda Michelle Johnson Emly, Scottsburg; three brothers, Earl Johnson, Danny Johnson and Marvin Johnson, all of Cincinnati, Ohio; and four sisters, Shirley Marple, Louisville, Ky., Geri Conners and Patricia Malcomb, both of Dry Ridge, Ky., and Loretta Hotopp, Aurora.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Lucky Johnson.
The Rev. Mike Shuler will conduct services at 1 p.m. Thursday at Buchanan Funeral Home, Austin. Burial will be in Davidson Cemetery, Austin.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
