Beyrl Lucas
September 3, 2006Beyrl Lucas, 72, Commiskey, died at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, 2006, at St. Vincent/Jennings Hospital, North Vernon.
Born Dec. 14, 1933, he was a son of Nathan Lucas Sr. and Lizzie Bates. On May 30, 1952, he married Wilma Everidge Lucas, who survives.
Survivors include a son, Michael (Jackie) Lucas, Commiskey; two daughters, Tammy Jo (Scott) Whipker, Seymour, and Sandra Jean (Terry) Hauersperger, North Vernon; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Rev. Bart Smith will conduct the funeral at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home, with burial at Vernon Cemetery.
Visitation: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
