Norma Everitt McCreery

Norma Everitt McCreery, 58, Scottsburg, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2002, at Scott Villa Living Center, Scottsburg.

She was a former beautician at Doc’s Beauty Salon. She was a member of Vienna United Methodist Church and was a graduate of Scottsburg High School and House of James Beauty School.

Born Dec. 29, 1943, in Scottsburg, she was a daughter of Lester Everitt and Dorothy Bengel. She married Ebert T. McCreery, who survives in Scottsburg.

Other survivors include a brother, Ernie Everitt, Salem; three sisters, Margie Dunlevy, Cleveland, Sheryl Everitt, Scottsburg, and Donna Everitt, Seymour; and several nieces and nephews.

The Rev. Dennis Thomas will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Saturday at Collins Funeral Home, Scottsburg. Burial will be in the Everitt Family Cemetery, Scottsburg.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
