Sallie Mae Melton
Sallie Mae Melton, 56, Scottsburg, died Friday, March 15, 2002, at Clark Memorial Hospital, Jeffersonville.
Mrs. Melton had been employed with Jay Packaging, Scottsburg, and attended Austin Christian Church.
Born Aug. 6, 1945, at Scottsburg, she was a daughter of Frederick Rankin and Mary DeHart.
Survivors include a son, Donald G. Melton, Austin; a daughter, Robin D. Hosmer, Austin; two brothers, Clarence DeHart, Flagler Beach, Fla., and James DeHart, Austin; a sister, Irene McKean, Columbus; Michael Stanley; and three grandchildren.
The Rev. Donald W. Allen was to have conducted services at 11 a.m. today at Collins Funeral Home, Scottsburg. Burial was to have been in the Oaks Cemetery near Austin.
