Regina Nicholson
July 13, 1932 - Nov. 27, 2006Regina "Jean" Nicholson, 74, Seymour, died Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, at her residence.
Mrs. Nicholson was a clerk at Patti's and had retired from both Excello Shirt Factory and Seymour Housewares.
Born July 13, 1932, in Adair County, Ky., she was a daughter of Luther and Pearl Grant Turner, both of whom preceded her in death. On Aug. 31, 1957, she married Ernest "Nick" Nicholson, who died Nov. 13, 1986.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia (Bill) Bohn, Columbus, and Barbara Antle, Bloomington; a son, Robert Dale (Pat) Nicholson, Seymour; a sister, Louise Thompson, Greensburg, Ky.; five grandchildren: Robert M. Nicholson, Kevin D. (Wendy) Nicholson, Matthew R. (Zabrina) Nicholson, all of Seymour, Kimberly (Scott) Fields, Columbus, and Trent (Erica) Bohn, Brownstown; and a companion of 14 years, Kenneth Ferris.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Leon and Joe Turner.
The Rev. Jimmy Rodriguez will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or Schneck Medical Center Hospice.
