Leona M. Rhude
Leona M. Rhude, 72, Smyrna, Ga., died Dec. 11, 2006, at her residence.
Mrs. Rhude worked for Sam's Club as a food distributor and was a member of Smyrna Assembly of God.
Born Feb. 1, 1934, in Maude, Okla., she was a daughter of Harvey Crawford and Minnie (Thompson) Crawford, both of whom preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Clifford Rhude, Franklin, and Robin Rhude, Fort Myers, Fla.; three daughters, Connie Risk, San Rafael, Calif., Peggy Rude, Lithia Springs., Ga., and Kris Smiley, Columbus; one brother, Ruben "Tex" Crawford, Fairfield, Calif.; three sisters, Alta Popplewell, Bakersfield, Calif., Charlene Crawford, Oildale, Calif., and Jerri Van Velsor, Mapletown, Ga., eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Lewis Burton will conduct funeral services at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Eskew-Eaton funeral Home, Edinburgh. Burial will take place at Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
