Louise Marie Ross

Louise Marie Ross, 88, Seymour, died at 4:55 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2002, at Hoosier Christian Village, Brownstown.

Mrs. Ross was a homemaker and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Seymour.

Born Oct. 22, 1913, at Scipio, she was a daughter of Charlton Henry and Lucinda Banister. On Oct. 22, 1932, in Scipio, she married Manville G. Ross, who died in 1964.

Survivors include two sons, William “Harold” I (Alice) Ross, Ravena, N.Y., and James “Mike” (Jo Gail) Ross, Brownstown; three grandsons, Walter A. Ross, New York, and Michael B. Ross and Shawn A. Ross, both of Brownstown; and three great-grandchildren, Steven, Courtney and Katrina Ross, all of New York.

She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Ross; a brother, Gerald Henry; and a sister, Lucy Gott.

The Rev. Jack A. Belk will conduct services at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Seymour.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour before time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Vase Fund or donor’s choice of charities.
