Nov. 26, 1966 - Nov. 27, 2006Juan Jose Torres Jr., 40, Seymour, died at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, at his residence.
Mr. Torres was a member of Seymour Christian Church and worked as an electrician at NTN Driveshaft. He was a graduate of First Baptist High School, Lazbuddie, Texas, and Wayland Baptist University. Plainview, Texas.
Born Nov. 26, 1966, in Raymondville, Texas, he was a son of Juan Jose and Irma Rodriguez Torres, both of whom survive.
Other survivors include his maternal grandmother, Julia Rodriguez, Texas; a sister, Connie T. (Martin) Hernandez, Seymour; a brother, Armando (Beth) Torres, Seymour; and four nephews, Jonas Torres and Joshua, Isaiah and Jacob Hernandez.
The Rev. Bill Lockman will conduct funeral services at 7 p.m. today at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will take place at Harlingen Cemetery in Harlingen, Texas.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to Seymour Christian Church.
