James Arthur Wilson

James Arthur Wilson, Scottsburg, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2002, at Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis.

Mr. Wilson was a retired heavy equipment operator for Martin Marietta Materials Inc. in Carrollton, Ky., and was of the Baptist faith.

Born Dec. 6, 1939, in English, he was a son of William Wilson and Lorene Langston.

Survivors include two daughters, Deborah L. Smith, Scottsburg, and Diana L. Wilson, Austin; a son, James L. Wilson, Seymour; three brothers, Robert, Carl and Emmett Wilson, all of Indiana; four sisters, Elaine Cole, Lorraine Demaree, Grace Phipps and Wanda Wilson, all of Indiana; and two grandchildren.

Brother Paul Powell will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Friday at Collins Funeral Home, Scottsburg. A private burial will be conducted at a later date.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
