Know all men by these presents That I William Coleran am held and firmly bind unto Michael Heiwig un the [final] sum of one hundred and fifty dollars to the payment of which will and truly to[?] mad[?] I bind my self my heirs and executers and administrators firmly by these presents [?] my hands and seal this 31st day of March 1874. This obligation is nevertheless upon this express condition whereas the above [?] William Coleran has this day sold to said Michael Heilig[wig] Lot [?] 308 in Block W in the city of Seymour Jackson County Indiana for the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars ($150) payable as follows; fifty ($50) the 1st day of May 1874 and one hundred dollars ($100) payable the 1st day of September 1874 [?] if upon the full payment for said lot as above set forth the said William Coleran shall make unto the said Heilig[wig] or his heirs in assign a [?] and sufficient warranty Deed for said premises th[eir] this obligation to be null and void else in full [?]and effect in law and [?nity].
