Monthly meetings are at 7:00 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at the Jackson County History Center Library. The Jackson County History Center Library is closed to researchers during meetings.

About Membership

Categories for Annual, Contributing, Student and Life Membership DUES are listed in the table below. Each category receives one newsletter per quarter. Members may post free queries in the newsletter, enjoy free access to the JaCGS library, and make free submissions to the Family Exchange File.

Make Checks or money orders payable to Jackson County History Center. Jackson County History Center will print your membership expiration date on your address label If you have any questions including limited research, enclose SASE for a personal response/receipt/membership card or publication list.

Membership Dues are $15 per year.

"The History Center maintains a non-circulating Research Library at the above address. Hours are Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 9 a. m. to 4 p. m.; Thursday 9 a. m. to 8 p. m.; and 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month, 9 a. m. to 4 p. m., except holidays or call for an appointment if residence is over 50 miles."

We are located behind Hucks in Brownstown. Go south of the court house to the stop sign; then go west and turn between Hucks and Jackson County Bank to our white block building in the alley. Parking in rear of the building.
