PVT. LUTHER EISELE

Pvt. Luther Eisele, son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Eisele, 417 East Third street, serving with the U.S. Infantry, was killed in France on August 17, his parents were informed this week. Jackson county's latest victim of World War II, he had been overseas only since June.

EISELE MEMORIAL SERVICES SUNDAY

Memorial services for Pvt. Luther Eisele, age twenty-one, son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Eisele, of this city will be conducted at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Franklin M. Moore, pastor, in charge.

Members of Seymour Post No. 89, American Legion, will attend the memorial rites.

Pvt. Eisele, serving with the U.S. Infantry, had gone overseas in June of this year and was reported killed in action in France on August, 17, according to word received by his parents September 4.

Pvt. Eisele had attened Shields High School and was employed at Freeman Field prior to entering the service. He was a member of Seymour Lodge No. 1123, Loyal Order of Moose.
