Pfc. Reynolds, Sparksville, Dies in Action

County Youth Killed In Belgium on September 5-Spray Memorial Held at Brownstown

Another Jackson county youth has paid the supreme sacrifice in World War II, according to information received from the war department by his parents.

Pfc. Wilford Reynolds, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Reynolds residing north of Sparksville in Carr township, is the county's latest casualty in the war. The message received by his parents stated he was killed in action somewhere in Belgium on Tuesday, September 5.

In addition to the parents, he is survived by a brother, residing near Sparksville, and two sisters, Mrs. Orpha Hughes and Mrs. Allman, both residing at Sparksville.
