Pvt. Sapp Is Killed on Attu

Mr. and Mrs. James Sapp, of Hamilton township, have received word that their son, Pvt. Robert B. Sapp, was killed in action on Attu on August 29.

Pvt. Sapp, who had lived in the Cortland vicinity for about two years, was inducted through a Kentucky selective service board. Memorial services are to be held in Kentucky this week.

Another son of Mr. and Mrs. Sapp, Pvt. John Sapp, also is sonewhere overseas with the U.S. Army.
