Local Soldier Is Awarded Bronze Star(Special to the Tribune)-Private First Class Charles R. Wells of Seymour, Indiana, recently was awarded the Bronze Star for heroic achievement in action while serving with II Corps coast artillery on the Fifth Army front in Italy.
His wife, Mrs. Clara L. Wells resides at 618 Chestnut street, Seymour.
