Glenn A. Ahlbrand

Glenn A. "Dick" Ahlbrand, 80, Seymour, died Thursday, July 20, 2006, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour.
Mr. Ahlbrand was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Seymour and was retired from Hamilton Cosco in Columbus.
Born Oct. 7, 1925, in Seymour, he was a son of Walter G. and Clara Kriete Ahlbrand, both of whom preceded him in death. He married Alberta Hehman, who also preceded him in death. He then married Margaret Topie in Seymour. She survives.
Other survivors include two children, Mike Ahlbrand, Seymour, and Beverly (Allen) Acton, Vallonia; four step-children, Tina Theilen, Robin (Ron) Buffington, Kim (Jim) Elliott and Brian McDonald; three sisters, Bernice Ahlbrand, Mildred Kiel, and Doris Greene; six grandchildren; several step-grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, Hobert "Jack", Louis, Armin, Chester, and Dale and one sister, Roberta Ahlbrand.
The Rev. Ralph Blomenberg will conduct funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 12:30 p.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to Hospice of Jackson County.
