Seymour Tribune Sat., August 16, 1969 Page 7 Bruce Allman Expires -- Rites Set Monday Bruce A. Allman, 66, 708 West Commerce street, Brownstown, died suddenly at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Schneck Memorial Hospital here. Mr. Allman, a member of the Brownstown Christian Church owned and operated the Allman Mobile Home Sales in Brownstown. A resident of Jackson County most of his life, Mr. Allman was a member of Washington Lodge No. 13, Free and Accented Masons at Brownstown Indiana Consistory S.P.R.S. 32nd degree, Valley of Indianapolis, the Jackson County Scottish Rite Club, Seymour Comandery No. 56, Knights Templar, and Seymour Chapter No. 85, Royal Arch Masons. He was born May 12, 1903, in Jackson County to the late William R. and Mollie Barris Allman. He was married June 19, 1926, in New Castle to the former Nina Hall, who survives. Survivors include three children, Richard Allman, of Seymour, Mrs. Ronald (Saundra) Shoemaker, of Brownstown, and Mrs. Richard (Betty Jean) Personette, of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; two brothers, the Rev. Dewey Allman and Oscar "Pip" Allman, both of Seymour; two sisters, Mrs. Everett Hupp, of Brownstown R1, and Mrs. Raymond Gaiter, of Brownstown; and 11 grandchildren. Two sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday from the Brownstown Christian Church, with the Rev. Evan Bolejack, pastor, officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown. Friends may call at the Spurgeon Funeral Home, Brownstown, after 10 a.m. Sunday. Masonic services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Sunday at the Spurgeon Funeral Home.
