Seymour Daily Tribune June 20, 2007 Charlotte Mae Allman Nov. 17, 1928 – June 17, 2007 Charlotte Mae Allman, 78, Seymour, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2007, at Hoosier Christian Village, Brownstown. Mrs. Allman was a member of Apostolic Pentecostal Tabernacle. She graduated from Shields High School and was a telephone operator for Contel Telephone Co. for more than 29 years. Born Nov. 17, 1928, in Seymour, she was a daughter of Ross and Doris Mellencamp Stigdon, both of whom preceded her in death. On May 3, 1948, in Maumee, she married Otho Leon Allman who preceded her in death in February 2006. Survivors include her sons, Jerry Wayne Allman, Phillip Leon Allman and Troy Martin Allman; a brother, Louis “Bill” (Kay) Stigdon; three sisters, Margaret (Charles) Guy, Donna Barger and Sharon (Haves) Turner; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Bullard. Sister Jean Pogue will conduct a memorial service at 7 p.m. Thursday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will take place at a later date. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Apostolic Pentecostal Tabernacle.
