Seymour Tribune June 15, 2002 Clarence F. Allman June 13, 1916 - June 14, 2002 Clarence F. Allman, 86, Seymour, died at 5:20 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2002, at Willow Crossing, Columbus. Mr. Allman was a member of White's Chapel United Methodist Church. he was retired from Cummins Engine Co., Columbus. he was a member of the Masons (twice a Past Master), Washington Lodge 13 of Brownstown, Scottish Rite, York Rite, O.E.S and Worker's Union. Born June 13, 1916, in Jackson County, he was a son of Fred Allman and Flossie Weddle Allman, who both preceded him in death. On Aug. 2, 1937, in Bartholomew County, he married Lenora McKain, and she died Aug. 4, 2000. He is survived by two sons, Fred L. Allman, Columbus, and Thomas D. Allman, Florida, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Carlin J. Allman, Seymour. He also was preceded by a grandson; a brother, and three sisters. The Rev. George R. Greathouse will conduct funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will be at White's Chapel Cemetery, Jackson County. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and from 9:30 a.m. until time of services Monday at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Bartholomew County Alzheimer's Association or White's Chapel United Methodist Church.
