The Tribune Seymour, Indiana Saturday, November 6, 1993 Page 4 Della E. Allman Della E. Allman, 89, of Salem died at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Meadowview Healthcare Center, Salem. She had been ill for several years. She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of Seymour Christ Temple, Seymour. Born April 1, 1904, she was a daughter os Willis B. and Ida Gullet Colvin. She became a Jackson County resident in 1940 and lived at 601 Euclid Ave., Seymour until she moved to Salem in 1990. She married the Rev. Dewey R. Allman on October 23, 1922, in Brownstown, and he died Sept. 24, 1985. Survivors include a son, Raymond "Tiny" Allman, Seymour; a daughter, Mrs. Millard (Bonita) Wineinger, Salem; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Allman, and a grandson. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Voss and Sons Funeral Chapel, Seymour. The Rev. Paul Perry and the Rev. Dennis Allman will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Seymour. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday and after 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel. Memorials may be given to the donor's choice.
