Seymour Daily Tribune - Feb. 27, 2006 Lois Faye Allman April 24, 1916 – Feb. 25, 2006 Lois Faye Allman, 89, Seymour, died at 7:50 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, at her residence. Mrs. Allman attended First Baptist Church in Seymour. She worked in the kitchen at the Elks Club, Heritage House and Seymour Country Club. She was a member of American Legion and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed life, family, and working in her flower garden. Born April 24, 1916, in Seymour, she was a daughter of William Andy and Anna Sager Larrison, both of whom preceded her in death. On Nov. 17, 1945, she married Everett E. Allman, in Brownstown. He preceded her in death on July 4, 1961. Survivors include three daughters, Nancy (Jerry) Murphy, Charlotte Hill, Judy (George) VanHentenryck, all of Seymour; three sons, Earl (Sandy) Allman, Seymour, Harry L. (Marty) Allman, Scottsburg, and Joe Allman, Seymour; two step-children, Marilyn (Delbert) Foster, Seymour, and Janet Wolf, North Vernon; one sister-in-law, Frances Larrison, Seymour; 22 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, John Engelking; three brothers, one sister, three step-children, Everett Allman, Donald Allman and Roland Allman and two great-grandchildren. Rev. John Hilbert will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 11 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Jackson County Hospice.
