Seymour Daily Tribune March 25, 2002 Ivan E. Anderson Ivan E. Anderson, 70, Crothersville, died Sunday, March 24, 2002, at Columbus Regional Hospital. Mr. Anderson was retired from Cummins Engine Co. in Columbus, where he had worked for 34 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and attended Cana United Methodist Church in Paris Crossing. He had lived in Crothersville since 1955. Born April 28, 1931, in Brady, Neb., he was a son of Lee Elsworth Anderson and Minnie Callaham. He married Thelma Hamilton, who survives in Crothersville. Other survivors include two daughters, Debra Hackman, Brownstown, and Tamela Summa, Seymour; two brothers, Loren Anderson, Nebraska, and Gaylin Anderson, Arizona; three sisters, Verla Russell, Nebraska, Norma Stevenson, Oklahoma, and Roxine Bullard, Wyoming; and five grandchildren. The Rev. John Adams will conduct services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Collins Funeral Home, Scottsburg. Burial will be in Scottsburg Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by Crothersville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1083. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or his church.
