Seymour Daily Tribune - September 24, 2005 Michael Edwin Anderson May 9, 1961 – Sept. 22, 2005 Michael Edwin "Mike" Anderson, 44, Seymour, died at 11:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, 2005, at Madison. Mr. Anderson was employed with ArvinMeritor, Carrollton, Ky., as a machinist for 12 years and was a former employee of D & M Machine Shop, Scottsburg. He was a member of Solid Rock Community Church, Scott County. He enjoyed animals, old cars, Corvettes, the Corvette Museum, flea markets and time with family. Born May 9, 1961, at Madison, he was a son of Ralph Anderson, who preceded him in death, and Phyllis Aldridge Wynn, who survives at Lexington. On July 29, 1978, he married Mary L. Green, who survives at Seymour. Other survivors include a daughter, Lesa M. Hardy, Seymour; a son and his fiancée, Michael E. Anderson II and Brandi Davis, Hanover; a granddaughter, Kaitlynn Hardy; two stepgranddaughters, Alyssa and Hayley Davis; and four brothers, David (Kim) Anderson and Jim Anderson, both of Madison, Clinton (Jenny) Wynn, Lexington, and Tony Dabney, Charlestown. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Elva Denning Anderson and Solon and Beatrice Royce Aldridge; stepmother, Janet Anderson; and stepfather, Bob Wynn. The Rev. Mike Shuler will conduct services at 11 a.m. Monday at Morgan-Webster-Nay Funeral Home, Madison, with interment at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Madison. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Mike Anderson Memorial Fund.
