Seymour Daily Tribune Beth Ann Harger Arbuckle September 21, 2006 Beth Ann Harger Arbuckle, 54, North Vernon, died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2006, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital. Mrs. Arbuckle was a homemaker and had previously worked at the former Muscatatuck State Developmental Center for 10 years. She was a licensed beautician and had a degree in architectural design. She enjoyed reading, camping, boating, working in the yard and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was a graduate of Arsenal Tech High School in Indianapolis. Born June 10, 1952, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Delmer Harger Sr. and Jane Barkman Harger, both of whom preceded her in death. On Aug. 5, 2000, she married Allen Arbuckle, and he survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Missy Luedeman, Norman, and Heather Pehm, Dunmor, Ky., a son Tony Merry, Hayden; four stepchildren; 17 grandchildren and a great-grandchild; three brothers, Phil Harger, New Whiteland, Steve Harger, Noblesville, and Delmer Harger Jr., Indianapolis; and a sister, Rita Richart, Hayden. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marcia Jay and Kay Harger. The Rev. Gill Hawkes will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Saturday at Pickett Funeral Home, North Vernon. Burial will take place at Vernon Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
