Seymour Tribune - July 4, 2008 Geraldine Rose Auleman Geraldine Rose Auleman, 79, Seymour, passed away Friday, July 4, 2008, at Covered Bridge Health Campus, Seymour. Mrs. Auleman was a homemaker, an award-winning crocheter, an accomplished seamstress and an excellent cook. Along with her husband, Farrell, she owned and operated Mom's Kitchen Candy in downtown Seymour. Born Feb. 15, 1929, in Brownstown, she was the daughter of Burrell and Trella Baker Maples. On Sept. 9, 1949, she married Farrell G. Auleman, who preceded her in death on Oct. 13, 2006. Survivors include a daughter, Nancy L. Auleman; a son, David (Eva Noblitt) Auleman; grandchildren, Amy (BJ) Cockerham, Lauren (Justin) Earl, and Isaac, Madison and Chloe Auleman; and three great-grandchildren, Kennedy and Alyx Cockerham and Jackson Earl. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Timothy Joe Auleman. Pastor Jack Suits and Tanya Wiseman will conduct funeral services at 6 p.m. Sunday at Voss Chapel, Seymour. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until time of service Sunday at Voss Chapel. Memorials may be given to Dixon's Chapel or Schneck Hospice.
