Seymour Daily Tribune January 2, 2007 William Jacob Baker Nov. 21, 1973 - Dec. 31, 2006 William Jacob Baker, 33, Seymour, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006, at his home. Mr. Baker was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, and loved sports, especially football. He was a history buff for the Civil War era and past presidents. He loved to travel and had been to 48 states. He loved his family dearly, especially his niece and nephew. He graduated from Seymour High School in 1992 and worked for Baker Wholesale Electric from 1992 until 1997. Born Nov. 21, 1973, in Indianapolis, he was the son of William Joseph and Patricia Sue VonDielingen Baker, both of whom survive. Other survivors include one sister, Rachel (Baron) Bullard; his niece and nephew, Anna and Noah Bullard; his paternal grandmother, Margaret Baker, all of Seymour, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Carl and Frieda VonDielingen, and his paternal grandfather, William "Bill" Baker. The Rev. Ralph Blomenberg, Rev. Philip Bloch, Rev. Jimmy Rodriguez and the Vicar Charles Ferry will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour. Burial will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Seymour. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Burkholder Funeral Chapel, Seymour, and from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the church. Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran School, Immanuel Lutheran Church Sunday Broadcast or donor's choice.
