Seymour Daily Tribune Sally Ann Banks September 27, 2006 Sally Ann Banks, 67, Brownstown, died at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006, at her residence. Mrs. Banks was a member of Brownstown United Methodist Church. She was a pharmacist for 46 years at Twin Town Drug Store. She was a member of Psi Iota Xi, a former Jackson County Coroner, served many years with the Jackson County Health Department Board, served on the finance committee at the Brownstown United Methodist Church and was the 2006 Brownstown Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year. Born Nov. 29, 1938, in Ripley County, she was a daughter of Willis R. Butt and Ruth E. Marsh, both of whom preceded her in death. On Sept. 13, 1959, in Brownstown, she married Jerry Dale Banks, who survives. Other survivors include two sons, Daniel (Arann) Banks and David A. Banks, both of Brownstown; one brother, James (Darlene) Butt, Brownstown; one sister, Betty (Jack) Gillespie, Brownstown; and four grandchildren, Tyler Banks, Sally C. Banks, Willis Banks, Mitchell Banks. The Rev. Jack Shake will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday at Brownstown United Methodist Church, Brownstown. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Spurgeon Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until time of service Friday at church. Memorials may be given to Brownstown United Methodist Church or Hoosier Christian Village Auxiliary.
