Seymour Tribune - June 6, 2007 Doris V. Barnett July 25, 1929 – June 4, 2007 Doris V. Barnett, 77, Brownstown, passed away at 5:05 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2007, at The Indiana Heart Hospital (Community Hospital North), Indianapolis. Mrs. Barnett had worked most of her life at Seymour Electronics and most recently for Jay C Food Stores in Seymour. She was devoted to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed listening to country music and trading at flea markets and was a fan of Indiana basketball. She loved her dog, Sam. Born July 25, 1929, in Floyd Knobs, she was a daughter of William M. and Rose McNamara Londot Sr. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Janet Barnett, Columbus; a brother, William M. “Bill” (Betty) Londot Jr., Brownstown; a sister-in-law, Charlotte Londot, Columbus, Ga.; two grandsons, Jason (Amy) Barnett, Allentown, Penn., and Grant (Amy) Barnett, Mobile, Ala.; two great-grandchildren, Jakob Wendell Barnett and Jordan Leigh Barnett; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Wendell D. “Wayne” Barnett; a brother, John Londot; and a sister, Mary Londot. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home, Brownstown. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Jackson County Humane Society or Hoosier Christian Village Auxiliary.
