Seymour Daily Tribune April 22, 2002 Juanita O. Baughman Juanita O. Baughman, 61, Brownstown, died at 7:55 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2002, at Columbus Health and Rehabilitation Center, Columbus. Mrs. Baughman was a member of Brownstown First Baptist Church and Vallonia Christian Church. She was a caregiver for many years. She was a member of Brownstown Eastern Star and Pythian Sisters at Brownstown. Born April 16, 1941, in Vallonia, she was a daughter of Woodrow and Bernice Cockrum Mantz, who both preceded her in death. On Aug. 12, 1984, she married Russell Baughman, and he died in July 1994. She is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and George Gay and Roberta and Richard Bane, all of Brownstown; two sisters-in-law, Millie Terrell, Brownstown, and Judy Baughman, Redding, Calif.; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Morris and Lorene Baughman, Freetown; a brother-in-law, Raymond Baughman, Medora; and several nieces and nephews. She also was preceded by a sister, Judy Bell Mantz; a brother, George Lloyd Mantz; a nephew and a great-nephew. The Rev. Larry Robbins will conduct funeral services at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Brownstown. There will be an Order of Eastern Star service at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Smallwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church in Brownstown, Smallwood Cemetery or to the donor’s choice.
