Shirley J. Baurle

Shirley J. Baurle, 51, Seymour, died at 4:50 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, 2005, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour.
Ms. Baurle was a 1972 graduate of Seymour High School and enjoyed children, dogs and loved to feed and watch birds.
Born April 5, 1954 in Seymour, she was a daughter of Shirley Leroy Baurle and Betty Jane Reed Baranowski, her mother survives, and her father preceded her in death.
Other survivors include one sister, Lisa (James) Abner, Columbus; two nephews, Nicholas and Kevin Abner, both of Columbus; one niece, Jessica Abner, Columbus; three aunts, Janet Voss, West Jefferson, Ohio; Linda Reed, Seymour; and Freida Smith, North Vernon; six uncles, Donald, Larry and Dana Reed, Seymour, Ernest Reed, Freetown, Donnie Baurle, Paris Crossing, and Louis Baurle, Seymour.
She was preceded in death by one son, Jason, on Feb. 27, 1994; and her long time companion, Bill Allman, on Jan. 8, 2005.
The Rev. Steve Muster will conduct funeral services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Burkholder Funeral Chapel, Seymour. Burial will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Burkholder Funeral Home, Seymour, and from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association or to the donor’s choice.
