Seymour Daily Tribune Joanne M. Beasley Joanne M. Beasley, 64, Brownstown, passed away at 1:40 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at Hoosier Christian Village, Brownstown. Mrs. Beasley was a homemaker and had worked various secretarial positions at Seymour Housewares and for her husband's ministry through the Church of Christ. Born Aug. 16, 1944, in Chicago, she was the daughter of Richard Kujawa, Elgin, Ill., and Rosetta Hampton. Her father survives and her mother preceded her in death. On Feb. 15, 1964, at Dundee, Ill., she married Thomas L. Beasley, who preceded her in death on Nov. 27, 1998. Survivors include two daughters, Mary C. Cobb, Brownstown, and Trisha L. McKain, Fishers; one brother, Richard Kujawa Jr., Elgin, Ill., one sister, Christine Clark, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Noah, Luke and Jordan Cobb and Paige McKain. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home, Brownstown. Burial will take place at Freetown Cemetery, Freetown. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Hoosier Christian Village Auxiliary or the Jackson County Humane Society.
