Seymour Tribune - April 8, 1949 Mrs. Nelson Belding Expires at Hospital Mrs. Irene Elizabeth Belding, 317 West Brown street, died Thursday night at Schneck Memorial Hospital. She had been ill for the past six months. Mrs. Belding was born January 13, 1898, in Jackson County and was a life-long resident of the county. she was the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Maschino Vogel. She was married April 19, 1924, at Detroit, Mich., to Nelson Belding, who survives. Mrs. Belding was an active member of the St. Ambrose Catholic Church and enjoyed the acquaintance and esteem of a wide circle of friends who mourn her passing. Beside the husband, she is survived by five children: Charles N. Belding, James A. Belding, Wilma Jean Belding, Margaret Ann Belding and Elizabeth Ellen Belding, all of Seymour; four brothers, Albert C. Vogel, of San Antonio, Texas; Edwin J. and Arthur J. Vogel, both of Seymour. One sister preceded her in death. Funeral services will be conducted at 9 o'clock Monday morning from the St. Ambrose Catholic Church with the Rev. R. J. Willhelm in charge. Burial in Riverview Cemeter. Friends may call at the Voss Mortuary after 7 o'clock tonight. The Rosary Society will recite the Rosary at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon and the Rosary also will be recited at 8 o'clock Sunday night.
