Seymour Tribune - December 18, 2007 Marvin Dale Bobb Dec. 22, 1939 - Dec. 16, 2007 Marvin Dale Bobb, 67, a lifelong resident of Crothersville, passed away unexpectedly at his home Sunday, Dec. 16, 2007. Mr. Bobb graduated from Tampico High School in 1958 and was a lifelong member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Dudleytown, where he sang in the choir and held various church offices. He was a retired farmer and self-employed truck driver for 23 years. He enjoyed pulling tractors his whole life with his dad and brothers until retirement last year, watching Indiana University basketball, visiting with friends and playing in the Lutheran Dartball League for several years. He owned the Country Inn in Dudleytown from April 1987 to September 1991. Born Dec. 22, 1939, he was a son of Omer and Cornelia VonDielingen Bobb, both of whom preceded him in death. Survivors include two sons, Randy Bobb and Roger and Sonia (Scott) Bobb, and two grandchildren, Whitney Bobb and Jeremy Bobb, all of Crothersville; three brothers, Dennis (Esther) Bobb, Paris Crossing, Eugene (Brenda) Bobb, Vallonia, and Danny (Brenda) Bobb, Crothersville; a sister, Diana (Paul) Barrett, Elizabethtown; five nieces; three nephews; an uncle, Ralph (Velma) Bobb, Seymour; and two aunts, Viola (Henry) Decker, North Vernon, and Lenora VonDielingen, Seymour. The Rev. Scott Kozisek will conduct funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Emanuel Lutheran Church, Dudleytown. Burial will take place at Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Adams Funeral Home, Crothersville, and from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the church.
